New Journal: SECA Dimensions of early childhood volume 44 number 2 2016

In this journal the reader can find different perspectives on what motivates young children in school. In one such article the author discusses the interest preschoolers show in blocks and manipulatives and how a teacher can encourage hands on learning in the classroom. This journal provides a deeper look into motivating young children and the skills teachers need to encourage their students.

New Journal: Young Children Vol. 71 no.4

In this volume of Young Children the focus is on improving the quality of teaching, childcare, and general health for toddlers. One article shows focus on encouraging the care of toddlers by supporting curiosity, persistence, and learning in the classroom. The journal emphasizes the the essential flow for toddler learning, informing the reader that toddlers look to adults to gauge how they should react when learning new information or gaining new experiences. This particular article in the journal written by Lauren E. Worley and Carla B. Goble gives a step by step guide on a toddlers learning flow and how one should go about teaching them in a classroom.
