Accessing Books Using Interlibrary Loan



The UNT Dallas Library provides students, faculty, and staff access to over 6 million books through ILLIAD (Interlibrary Loan).  Follow the link below for a step-by-step guide to signing up for an account and completing a book request.
1. From the Library Resource Page select ILLIAD.
    From the ILLIAD log on page select First Time User.
    Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the First Time User Click Here button
   

 

2.  Complete the ILLIAD Registration form filling in any fields marked with a red asterisk. 
     Provide a current email address so that you receive updates related to your ILLIAD requests.
     Select Dallas Campus as the delivery location (note UNT Dallas Library recieves deliveries twice a week
     on Tuesday and Friday.)


3.  To request a book select Book listed under New Request.
     Users may review requests from the dashboard by clicking on the transaction number which will 
       be listed under Outstanding Requests and Transactions. 


4. If the book is located in the UNT system select AT UNT from the drop down menu. This 
    can be determined by searching the UNT catalog

    Fill in any field marked with a red asterisk. ISBN numbers are not required but will speed up the request 
    process if provided. You may find ISBN numbers by searching the UNT catalog or Worldcat
