Hello everyone! My name is Ricardo Garcia and I am new team member at the UNT-Dallas library. I am from Fort Worth, born and raised, so if you have any social interests in Fort Worth, I can help answer questions. I am always looking for new and interesting things to do in the Dallas area.

My post-high school education includes an Associate of Arts from Tarrant County College in 2009. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. I am currently a 2nd year Information Science graduate student at UNT. I hope to finish my Master of Information Science in the spring 2014 and continue to pursue a Ph.D in education.

I am really excited to be here at UNT Dallas and look forward to meeting all the faculty, staff, and students.

UNT Dallas Library Student Assistant

My name is Francisco Verdin and I am a student at UNT Dallas. I am working on my Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting and hope to own my very own Mexican restaurant. My hobbies are listening to a variety of music such as banda, norteno, and hip hop; watching Youtube videos and trying new things like modifying cars. I enjoy helping people and making new colleagues. A major project I worked on in the library was to organize and index a collection of 1200 plus psychology journals provided by President Ron Brown for use by faculty and students. It is an honor to help build the foundation of what can be an enriched resource of psychology journals that will assists students with their research.
