Anniversary of Rosa Parks Birth

In honor of Black History Month we remember the anniversary of the birth of Rosa Parks who was born on February 4, 1913 in Tuskegee Alabama. Parks helped spark the African American struggle for civil rights when she refused to move to the back of a Montgomery Alabama transit bus. Her subsequent arrest led to an 18 month boycott of the Montgomery Transit system.
