African-American Heritage Display

For the remainder of Black History Month, room 129 in the library will be displaying unique items and photos pertaining to African-American ancestry and culture. It has been graciously curated by Sankofa Education Services and Clarence Glover, who's lineage has been traced back to Ghana, home of the Ashanti people, as well as the Fante, Ewe, and Ga. The cloth patterns featured here contain symbolic meanings which you can learn more about by visiting the library.
