The National Endowment for the Humanities and the Library of Congress have teamed up to digitize American newspapers from 1836 and 1922. Enjoy rich images from the past printing presses and rediscover what headlines made the past. These newspapers and their historical information (great for research!) are readily accessible to the world.

Notice to UNT Dallas Students!!  Have you considered the IS Audit Profession?


Thanks to Dr. Cheryl Prachyl, UNT Dallas library will have a trial subscription to the
Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)  Journal.  The journals will be
located in the library in a container labled “ISACA”.  Dr. Cheryl Prachyl, Asst Prof Business
Accounting Division of Urban & Professional Studies, is working with the ISACA Academic Advisor program to
promote student awareness of the IS audit profession.

November is National Novel Writing Month!

For those who have been considering writing a novel, now is the time! National Novel Writing Month has kicked off and it's not too late to get started. The official NaNoWriMo website allows you to create a profile so that you can receive the encouragement, support, motivation and resources you need to finish your rough draft by the end of the month. You will also be notified about upcoming events in your area and find updated lists of participating libraries and bookstores. Why wait until next year when you can start writing that novel today?
