Undergraduate Research Guides

The University of Wisconsin - Madison libraries has put together online research guides for undergraduate students. They are meant to jump start searches on a variety of topics.

The topics cover everything from Aging and AIDS to Welfare Reform and Youth Crime.

Each one gives the scope of the guide and a list of basic books that are good reference starting places. In the navigation box to the left are links to other parts of the guide such as finding journals and articles, finding books, internet sites, statistics, videos, and organizations. Sample search terms are included as are recommendations for electronic databases like EBSCOhost and Proquest.
